Watched this yesterday. This is nowhere near the masterpiece Scott made in 1979, but this is also not likely to enrage the franchise's fans like Prometheus did. I liked Prometheus for its moody atmosphere if not for anything else. Scott retained his existential ramblings from Prometheus, but toned them down. Though they provide the central conflict, they take a backseat and allow the scary scenes to have their day. Not a bad film at all
