I saw this movie in USA when it was released. I saw as it is made on the real characters and facing the actual situation no doubt Stya and Vastav are made with the star and with avery sound directors with their big funds and give the feeling that we are watching drama because Stars impact will be their but in Avgat we found as if these characters are the living characters of underworld I saw the interveiw of the young director of the movie on B4U channel in Europe and came to know it was his first film and above all first film of producer I must congratulate them on their efforts made and they never mix up glamar an songs as done in Satya and in Vastav their directors may not be confident on their presentation so they ad songs as usual in other film they were doing we should not say the film is made with B grade artist it is odience which is deciding B grade or AS grade they can not say Artist is artist and its perform with efforts of course they were not Star which any body can become at aproper time. Ram gopal verma was known before Rangila became hit due to Big star cast like Amir Khan and many more in the film Satya had also had the sport of other stars but it had filmi masala and never touch the real sensitive sbject which society is facing and we must appriciate good work done by the producer and its director.
Satya started it. It became a classic in Hindi film history. Vaastav continued
it, courtesy Sanjay Dutt's cracker of a performance. And as is expected from Bollywood,
the rut of plagiarism has started.
Agreed that we viewers need a chunk of reality, agreed that realistic themes on the Mumbai underworld bring out the best in the performers, and agreed that the trendsetters in such themes have become blockbusters, but puhleeze, that definitely does not mean you give us Vaastav and Satya back with a B-grade cast and absolutely, and I mean absolutely, no change anywhere ....
