This is right movie in right region at right place; We have been blessed with Bhagavad Geeta, Quran, Bible, Vedas, and many saint's wisdom but have we changed? So the moral teaching should continue till we are enlightened irrespective of whatever form it is! We are too modern to read scriptures, too busy to hear discourses of great saints; So the only way to be reminded is through Media/ Entertainment; So I believe, if one doesn't appreciate this movie one has forgotten to be a human and has become a pleasure seeking robot/ machine; Whatever era it might be, there are certain principles which are called " Na bootho na bhavisyathi" and this movie aptly sticks to them, I hope people come out their biasses of cast, region, religion and watch and appreciate altruism and become alchemists atleast for a short time from this movie
Pros: Spiritual talk Cons: Stupid people reviewing about movies
More than anything else, Puli is about Pawan Kalyan wanting to get feverishly worked up and mouth deafeningly loud lines about what irks him about the world. The rest is a frivolous set of disjointed attempts to build substance around one man's intention to repeatedly make a heated Independence Day speech.
For a film being advertised as a hi-tech action thriller, Puli is over-the-top in spirit. It doesn't have an extraordinary story in the first place, and the makers aren't very subtle while narrating it. Unsubtle plus stupid - now that is shaky ground for a star to throw himself on....
