Tulsi, good review overall. It's disappointing that Om Shanti Shantihi fell flat when the original Malayalam film was so good. It really takes some 'talent' to ruin a movie.
Prashanthi gives up her dreams for love, only to fall into abusive relationships first with her lecturer and later with her husband, Omkar, who pretends to support her but turns violent and manipulative. After enduring trauma, betrayal, and a heartbreaking miscarriage, she secretly strengthens herself, escapes his control, and rebuilds her life by starting a successful business. In A R Sajeev's pulpy feministic marital dramedy Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi, Omkar Naidu (Tharun Bhascker), a moustache-twirling, chauvinistic husband, gets his due from his long-suffering wife, Prashanthi (Isha Rebba). For a short while after their marriage, Naidu appears to soften his ways under Prashanthi's earnest devotion.
