It's common for films to open with disclaimers: no animals were harmed, no intention to offend religious sentiments, any resemblance to real persons is purely coincidental etc. But Mithra Mandali goes a step further with perhaps the cheekiest disclaimer yet: this film has no story. It kicks off with a farcical animated sequence that spoofs big-budget dramas, complete with an over-the-top voice-over, warning viewers not to expect a plot. True to its word, the next two and a half hours play out like an endless stream of comedy reels, some accidentally funny, but most painfully loud, cringe-induc....
