There are adaptations and there are rip-offs, and this is a classic example of the latter. And as if ripping off were not enough, the makers actually tell you that they have – that’s if you haven’t already fathomed that. After this adapta... beg pardon, rip-off, of his novel, James Hadley Chase must be turning in his grave. And if he hasn’t reached there yet, he must be longing to get there.
