An 8-year-old boy Ankur dies due to the negligence of Dr. Asthana, who considers the medical field as a money-making buisness. Nanditha (Ankur's mother) and Romesh, an intern, sue Dr. Asthana, thus highlighting the corruption and laxity in hospitals.
