"Just Friends" or more than that? This is Gautam's predicament when he meets Meera (Diana Penty) and Veronica (Deepika Padukone). Meera is an introvert, recovering from being jilted, while Veronica is a wild, impulsive girl who likes living life like a joyride. Gautam and Meera hit it off initially, but his carefree attitude rattles her. Being two peas of the same pod, Veronica and Gautam get along famously. The three of them become fast friends, until Gautam has to decide who to spend his life with.

The sorcerer of all love stories in the recent past, Imtiaz Ali, puts together a not-so-simple romance or two, a triangle, a foreign locale, circumstances requiring distinctive music and tailor-made lines for Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, and shakes it together to give us Cocktail, served by director Homi Adajania. The mix is heady, but too much of it can give you a headache, so be warned.
