Shark Night (3D)

With an idea that can only amuse psychopaths, Dennis (Chris Carmack) and Red (Joshua Leonard) breed sharks in a private lake. They wish to film the deaths of students who are lured into the lake and eaten up by the sharks. Unsuspecting Sara (Sara Palski) and her friends come home with hopes of a quiet and relaxing holiday by the side of the very same lake that is infested with sharks.

The unabashed regularity with which Hollywood churns out B-grade horror/slasher/psycho movies and manages to get the spectators rooting for more, is commendable. In short, there is always an audience for this rather overexploited genre, and therefore, it is not surprising that a movie like Shark Night is released in India, and in 3D, no less.

So you have the lead girl, a sexy-yet-almost-virginal teenager Sara (Sara Paxton), who invites her equally clichéd group of teenage friends - the hot yet nerdy Nick (Dustin Milligan), the bitchy whore Beth (Katharine McPhee)....
