American Drive-In starts off with a young couple in a van heading for a drive-in. They pass this group of punks who see the beautiful girl in the van and give chase. They eventually muscle their way into the drive-in which is showing a movie called Hard Rock Zombies, a horrifying flick.

"American Drive-In" has too many characters playing alongside each other and is slightly confusing in the beginning and turns out right funny in the end.
