Screenplay doesn't mean how scenes play on the screen. It simply means the script of the movie. Everything that happens on the screen is part of the screenplay. Screenplay is not a distinct craft like editing or music rather it is the movie itself and it is the most misinterpreted word many idiotic reviewers and audience of Telugu movies use in its crudest literal sense and it's very annoying to hear it so often.
