Om Shanti, a Telugu movie, is not currently screening in any theatres in Hyderabad.

Om Shanti has three problems -
1. It is hopelessly inspired by Vantage Point and Amores perros.
2. It has five stories which are not necessary in first place.
3. It has no gripping moments.
There is comedy which isn't comedy. There are troubles which are skin deep. There is acting which is either melodramatic or underplayed.
Nikhil overacts his way through out the movie, Kajal too is the same, Bindu Madhavi has no scope and she doesn't deliver either and Navdeep is the only saving grace in the entire film along with his pair.
The only saving grace could have been good direction, but it is a letdown. What could have been a dark horse in terms of the scale of the other movies which released like Adhurs, Namo Venkatesa and Shambo Siva Shambo proves to be a huge disappointment.
On the whole it has nothing great to watch and can be skipped for a family outing this festive season.

Om Shanti is a case of beautiful handwriting gracing the wrong answer. Watching it is like listening intently to an articulate speaker ramble on and on, until you realize that he's, well, rambling on and on.
The flawless performances don't let the faults show for a long while, but Om Shanti could have been just as flawless, if it were helmed with an eye on the box office. That doesn't merely mean inserting songs, dances and fights, but thinking on behalf of audiences from varied backgrounds and trying to cater to a common denominator.
