It’s legend time again. Not too long after Joan Of Arc, we have another legend adapted for the big screen. This time it is just a novel, though – Washington Irving’s The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow. Heads sure do roll – including our own - in this, one helluva thriller.
It’s 1799, and we are in New York City. Ichabod Crane (Johnny Depp) is a constable with a predilection for using scientific techniques in the investigation of crime. The conservative establishment is not too chuffed about this and, in order to get rid of him, they send him to the town of Sleepy Hollow ....
