I meant to write every other song feels ill-placed except for Poonakalu loading. They really break the flow of the narrative each time.
Chiranjeevi was definitely in his element with this role. He isn't trying to be a CM or better than everyone else or a demigod in this film. He is just another character in this world and he's excellent that way. I wish more actors tried this on for size. That is way Ram Charan's performances in Rangasthalam and RRR are so celebrated. He is more character than Mega Power Star.

There were a few fun coincidences with yesterday's release Veera Simha Reddy and today's Waltair Veerayya. The films have the same producer and leading lady, and a shared Sapthagiri. I wonder what financial sense it makes for the same production house to release two movies over a weekend. I'm not a big-brained accountant, so I'll stick to my forté of reviewing movies.
