The poster of this film sends out the message that this is one real steamy movie.
Well, the wise old saying 'all that glitters is not gold' holds true in this case.
It is not even remotely close to steamy or raunchy. In fact it is just a plain
old comedy flick, with unknown actors who do not appear on a single poster in
the city. And those who do do not appear anywhere in the movie. That's advertising,
and it did the trick - the crowds turned up.
The story is pretty simple. A newly married couple is off on their honeymoon,
to a resort that specializes in adding that required spice to it. On their arrival,
they realize that the resort is just the opposite. The employees at the resort
have a betting scam on which couple will leave the quickest. They do everything
they can to make life miserable for the guests, so as to speed up the process
of evicting the unsuspecting couples and collect that bet money.
They create a lot of trouble for our newly married couple too, but their love is stronger, and
in the end they come out winners against all odds. If you're wondering what kind
of a plot that is, you've got company - so are we.
The humor is very simple and straight. The movie is slow and can put you to sleep. There is nothing special in it and if you miss it, you have missed nothing.
