Daaku Raamkali is the latest rehash of Sholay - or shall we say Bandit Queen?

Sher Singh and Arjun Singh are twin brothers (played by Kiran Kumar). While Arjun Singh is a sincere and honest cop, Sher Singh becomes a dacoit under the influence of Bajrang (Sadashiv Amrapukar), Abu Aalu (Shakti Kapoor) and Seth Danraj (Mohan Joshi).

Strangely, even Sher Singh’s daughter Champa and Arjun Singh’s daughter Raamkali are twins (and I suspect even their mothers are twins!).

Seth Dhanraj and his friends kill Arjun Singh, and the blame is put on Sher Singh. Sher Singh escap....
