I completely disagree with the reviewer. Housefull is not half as bad as she made it to be. It is tough to make a comedy. And even if it is made well, it all depends on the sense of humor of the watcher. Some are so exceptional that they are liked by one and all, and some like Housefull may be liked by some and criticized by others, and are mediocre at worst. I really loved the movie and I am pleasantly surprised by Lara Dutta's performance. I think her performance stands out in the movie. Of course Akki is super cute and funny, and everyone else are ordinary. Boman irani and Randheer Kapoor were particularly irritating.
And please don't give out the punchlines of the comic scenes. C'mon, be a sport.

Laughing gas inside the Buckingham Palace? Seriously? Is that what being Sajid Khan - a comic who once made laugh tracks redundant - has come to now?
Desperation is when Housefull packs in a throng of people at a royal function and lets loose a cylinder of nitrous oxide so that they all hysterically roar with laughter for a few minutes. Irony is when those few minutes are met with an embarrassed silence this side of the cinema screen.
Housefull is not a noisy flick. In fact, it is pretty far from being noisy - it's a largely joke-less film. There's just too much....
