The hyped 'Ek Rishtaa' got delayed by a week. So the distributors resorted to their favourite solution to make for the glitch. Go to their archives, release a Z-grade, badly-screened Russian movie of the 70s with English subtitles, give it the set-up of a porn film and make easy the entry of some easy money, courtesy some panting voyeurs. And as usual, one goes expecting a mountain and gets mere molehills. Please don't take it too literally.
So here are three couples who go camping to an island. Looking at their camp, you wonder if they have shifted their whole house there. A parallel screenplay shows another lady camper who keeps on walking to nowhere.
The parallel track finally converges when this lady camps adjacent to these people. To the men's and of course the viewer's delight, the lady happens to be a nudist, and every second scene from then on has her swimming away to glory and flirting with some underwater creatures. She also cracks some jokes associated with octopuses. The men smack their lips and the women conspire to rape her. As you can see, there are lesbians here, too.
After some inane scenes of jealousy and fantasizing, the men kill the nudist because she was leaving the camp without telling them. According to them it's treachery and so she deserved to get killed. They bury the nudist. When they plan to leave the next day, their boat does not start, and what they see is the nudist laughing at them from the shore.
So, it is supposed to be a ghost movie. In any case, whatever genre it belongs
to, the Z- grade quality of the picture puts serious strain on your eyes. If not
for anything else, then at least for your eyes' sake, stay at home and wait patiently
for Ek Rishtaa.
