You miss those good ol' days. Those Govinda comedies that were made with the IQ level of a banana peel, but made you laugh like you've seen your mother-in-law slip on one and died. Ok, that's not a really nice thing to say we suppose. Govinda movies were never made with the IQ level that low. That was Mithun da's speciality.
Now, Suno Sasurji is planning on bringing out that culture - Govinda's not Mithun da's. With comedians that were the trademark of almost all of Govinda's no-brainers - Kader Khan, Johnny Lever, Satish Kaushik and Asrani. This is how the story for this one goes.
Kader is a banker and he pays a 25 per cent interest rate to those who deposit money with him, but only after 25 years. He deliberately chooses old people so that he can keep all their money once they die. But Aftab, whose grandfather had deposited money with Kader, comes back to claim his grandfather's share, and in the process, falls in love with the banker's daughter. The daughter happens to be a complete squanderer, much to her father's disapproval.
The movie will show Amisha in an out-and-out comedy role for the first time.
Suno Sasurji stars: Aftab Shivdasani, Amisha Patel, Kader Khan Asrani, Satish Kaushik and Johnny Lever.
