The title of this movie has got to be the misnomer of the year: the leading lady
of this movie is anything but a Kamsin Hasina (Slender Beauty). She is supposed
to be a female Tarzan, but looks more like his faithful elephant. How such movies
are made is baffling and stupefying. Sub-standard and torturous are the best adjectives
to describe this.
The film is about a search for a diamond mine hidden somewhere in a jungle. Let
us tell you something about this jungle; one has seen gardens with more flora
and fauna. As for the star cast, they seem to have been picked just because they
can walk on two legs.
The tale kicks off with two friends, Ajay and Ramesh, looking for a lost diamond
mine. Things go horribly wrong when, in a drunken state, Ramesh attempts to rape
his friend's wife. She takes cover in the thick of the forest, and the next few
scenes are cut. And it is twenty years later.
Ramesh's son comes looking for his father, and runs into the jungle princess Hasina.
This is when things become intolerable. She and her tribe speak an alien language
that makes up for most of the dialogues in the movie. Rambo, Rambo and Takita,
Takita is what you hear throughout the movie. What exactly it means we will never
know. Before you know it, it's the end; everybody just appears from the woodwork,
the mine is found, and we have a happy ending.
What exactly the story is will never be found out, as no two scenes correspond
with each other. The script has been cut with no mercy for the viewer. And as
far the semi-nudity is concerned, whatever little there is, happens so quickly
that you are left wondering what exactly you saw. This one is not fit even for
the desperate and the frustrated.
