You can watch this one on TV, if one of the channels decides to air it again. Speaks volumes about the kind of stuff that ends up under the label 'soft-porn' in the city. The story, though, has been beaten to death by better-known thrillers. Obsessive love, and the lengths one guy goes to get the woman he's crazy about, isn't the kind of stuff that constitutes novelty, anymore.
Sam is a security guard in the building where Hillary works. He's madly in love with her, but she has a boyfriend, Craig. One night Hillary is working late, and happens to be the last one to leave the building. Sam is the guard on duty that night, and he decides that he's never going to get a better chance, so he closes the exit gates just when she's leaving, so that she has to spend the night in the lower level of the parking lot. But, as luck would have it, Craig enters the building just before the gates shut, and he's trapped, too.
Now, all Sam wanted to do was spend some time alone with Hillary, but his best-laid plans go awry when he finds that there are more people in the building than he expected. Not knowing what to do, and not wanting to lose this opportunity, he goes on a killing spree. He even tries to kill Craig. The rest of the story is all about how Hillary and Craig try to escape Sam and get out of the building.
The movie is quite good, as in you won't get bored or something. For a B grade movie, the acting by all three of them is quite good, especially Sam's. As usual, there are some gaping loopholes in the story - Sam tricks Craig, and he falls down some 10-15 floors in the lift chute. And I guarantee that you'll be amazed (oops, I guess not any more) when he comes back to life with just some minor bruises! But then, you probably won't get to know how the miracle happened, because our man, the projector guy, just doesn't want you to!
All in all, it is a good thriller, but with the guys around you screaming for
some erotica, you may find it just a little difficult to appreciate the movie!
