Now we've seen some movies in our time that were awful, but this one is worse than Chinese torture. In fact it's so painful that it could be used to extract information from militants. It could awaken the sleeping Rambo within you and set him on a mission - that's if you live through the flick - to terminate the director and set an example for others with similar ideas. Just as Shiv Kumar sets an example for pimps in his movie Be-Abroo - currently showing in town, and also reviewed (please pardon the word) on fullhyd.com. Have you noticed how appropriate we are in our comparisons?
The movie is about a press reporter Seema, who is transferred to Bombay. When she arrives, she becomes the victim of a pimp who drugs her. And when she comes back to her senses, she manages to kill him and escape. Since she's a reporter, she covers the story and since she's involved in the case, she writes a damn good story too.
Seema gets to write an article about other victims like her. So, she interviews all the whores she meets and also keeps killing all the pimps she can lay her hands on - nice hobby. This is the flimsy theme around which the movie rotates. Filled with prostitutes who try to sound sexy, but alas, sound like asthma and constipation patients, this is one hell of a way to understand life in redlight districts.
