The title of this movie makes no sense at all. There is no pay back, and there
are no girls at all. The original title of this movie is just Pay Back,
renamed as Pay Back Girls to attract the crowds. Wish someone would pay
me back for watching this utterly boring flick. This movie just cannot be classified
into any sensible category. It just lingers on the edges of being a thriller
or a soft-porn flick.
Lee (Thomas Howell) is an ex-con who, while in prison, learns of the whereabouts
of stolen money, hidden somewhere in a small town. The only thing he does not
have is the exact location where it is hidden. The answer lies in a painting
owned by a certain Mr Tom who runs the local cafe with the help of his beautiful
wife Rose (Joan Severance). Incidentally, Tom is also blind and sexually defunct.
Lee somehow gets a job at the cafe and is allowed to share their house. Isn't
an all too familiar story taking shape? A virile young man staying with a handicapped
man who has an attractive young wife. So it is. Lee seduces Rose, obtains the
map and recovers the money. A little twist is added in the end. Rose gets Lee
to kill Tom and then she kills Lee and the money is all her's. The End.
