Nag's bag of flicks churns up another one this time in the form of Snehamante Idera. With a cast like that, you know that the moments of sheer absurdity will translate into the box office jingle that Nag is fervently hoping will bring home his jangle of good run at the theaters.

Putting the phrase 'all for one and one for all' to good use, Arvind (Nagarjuna), Chandru (Sumant) and Keemu (Sudhakar) are bumchums inhabiting Narsapur. One day, taking time out of his bucolic shenanigans, Chandru (Sumant) tells his pal Keemu that Aravind's sister is falling in love with him, and asks him to get him out of the mess. So Keemu puts out to air a dumb plan that goes haywire, and soon all the three boys are fleeing for their lives and come to Hyderabad.

Here they begin to work under Brahmanandam as his apprentices at a paint shop. During a painting trip, Arvind encounters Padmini (post-Kushi Bhumika). Needless to say, he falls in love with her. But also in Bhumika's vicinity is a mysterious poltergeistic cousin sister who, with the help of some pigeon courier service, begins to carpet-bomb Arvind with lovey-dovey messages.

Arvind thinks these are from Padmini, and the day when the poor girl is about to get engaged to some poor goat, Chandru jumps the gun and confronts her. Now we know and the evil cousin knows that Padmini did not write the notes, but Padmini doesn't. So she's struck with a spoon on her mouth and is dumbfounded when her engagement breaks off.

Hell hath no fury like a would be fiancée scorned, so she vows to break off the Three Musketeers sort of friendship of the guys. This is the first half. The second is meant for viewing strictly in the theater.

Going by the loud guffaws in the theater during the comic scenes, I have a vague feeling this one's going to go down pretty well with the masses. The comedy is mostly banana peel, mega-decibel shrieking stuff, yet it does get funny in a dumb corny way.

The comic scenes totally kill Nag's performance. You are too busy dealing with the humor to notice him at times. And his fans may be disappointed at his haggardly face. But he does a decent deal when Sumant is not shrieking and Brahmanandam is not playing the clown. Bhumika fans have to wait until about an hour into the film to catch a glimpse of her. She's slimmed down and has finally realized the advantages of wearing makeup. She looks more like a heroine in this flick. Hallelujah!

The songs are okay, but nothing to scribble on a telegram and send home. In sum, the film is all right, but I wouldn't advise you to kill for the tickets. You might be entertained in the first half, but man oh man, the second butchers the flick! It gets cornier by the second - yeah, Nag in a coma and... heck, I ain't telling you nothing else. Buy your own ticket and repent.

The movie is Okay.
It is far better than the regular movies. Every Hero is trying to do the same type of role which they got Hit in their previous movies. But Nag he is trying Different (The question Does't arise inregards to Hit OR flop). I accept his way of doing roles. He is the maker who creates history to our telugu film industry. He is the real Hero.

Cinema Ante Idera!

It is the story of three friends who value the friendship most than anything in life. While one readies to forego his parents, wife and if need be its life for another. The other role also values the former equally and will have the mentality to adjust to any circumstance. The third role always tries to balance the situation. Nagarjuna played the first character, while his nephew Sumanth lived in the second role, while Sudhakar played the bridge role between all the characters.

When comes to the story, Aravind [Nagarjuna] was the son of a district judge [Chalapathi Rao]. Chandru [Sumanth] and Krishnamurthy, fondly called Kimu [Sudhakar] is his friend. Chandru [Sumanth] has a brother, who was deaf and dumb. Chandru and Kimu are orphans. Once Aravind's sister drowns in a canal and Chandru saves her. As a gratitude, Aravind's parents bring up Chandru and Kimu equally with Aravind. They all grow up. Aravind's sister [Pratyusha] falls in love with Chandru, but Chandru dislikes it as he had great respect towards his friendship with Aravind.

Kimu goes to Hyderabad in search of a job and joins his uncle who was a painting contractor. Aravind and Chandru also go to Hyderabad to meet their friend and join with Kimu as apprentices. The group goes to a zamindar's house on a huge painting contract. There, Aravind saves the life of Padmini, daughter of the zamindar and falls in love with the zamindar's daughter Padmini [Bhoomika]. Padmini's cousin, Swathi, sends love letters through a pigeon and Aravind mistook them as if Padmini sent them. Later, Padmini challenges with Chandru that she will marry Aravind and gets the friends separated.

Aravind accepts the love between his sister and Chandru. But Aravind's brother-in-law had plans to marry her and as he could not get her married hatches several conspiracies. In the process, Chandru misunderstands Padmini and says she was playing games to separate the friends. Once, Aravind discloses to Padmini, why he loved his friend so much. He reveals that he was responsible behind the death of Chandru's little deaf and dumb brother. The villain character leaks the secret to Chandru and the latter fights with Aravind and gets separated. Aravind goes to Chandru and requests him to marry his sister who loved him so much.

The first half of the film was full of comedy. The comedy track with Brahmanandam as the painting contractor and uncle of Sudhakar, Ali, Venumadhav and others makes the audiences burst into laughter. However, the second half was a complete serious melodrama. Sumanth had shown maturity in his acting talents. He showed good performance during scenes coupled with sentiment. Nagarjuna performed well, in the first half teasing the girls, in the second half as a good husband. Like all other films by Super Good Films produced by RB Choudary, this film is also had melodious songs. Selection of costumes and the outdoor locations was excellent.

Cast : Nagarjuna, Sumanth, Bhoomika, Pratyusha, Sudhakar, Giribabu, Brahmanandam, Ali, Tanikella Bharani, AVS, Chakravarthy, Venumadhav, Ramireddy, Jayaprakash Reddy, Sreeman, Ramaprabha, Sangeeta, Satyapriya, Sana.
