This is a formula porn flick. The story (see, we use certain terms for ease of
communication) is made-for-porn, the actors and actresses are sheer carpenter
material, there are umpteen opportunities for them to meet the objective of the
film, there is an even larger number of marks left by the censors, and there is
a frustrated audience leaving at various stages of the film cursing that incurable
optimistic streak in themselves all over again. And there is also your mandatory
reviewer wondering how uncanny it is that the world always looks so green from
inside a porn-screening theater.
In Too Deep revolves around a girl called Wendy who happens to be a nymphomaniac
with a streak of masochism in her. Wendy manages a store and has a boyfriend named
Mac, a hard rocking musician whose mannerisms are twenty years out of date. Mac
treats Wendy badly (which she enjoys) and gets a perverse kick out of making her
beg for sex.
Wendy also has a kid sister called Joanne who comes to live with her elder sister. When Wendy isn't around, she uses Wendy's dildo, straps and other sex toys, and when Wendy is around, she keeps taking sneak previews of her and Mac making out (which you don't get to see, in case that's on your mind). She tries to find her own mate, but doesn't succeed.
Then there also are a couple of cops who are looking for a tape and Mac. Please
don't ask me why - even they don't seem to have thought that their viewers would
be interested in the story. The cops are stalking Mac, apparantly for something
to do with corruption, and finally catch up with him. And everyone's misery ends.
