What do you expect to find in an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie that has him toting
guns on all posters? This particular one has all the action that you go to the
movie for. And it's been screened so many times that we've lost count.
When the indomitable American Mafia kills a top FBI officer's son and he can trust
no one in the department, who can he turn to to seek retribution? None other than
is old ex-FBI friend Kaminski (Arnold Schwarzenegger), who is leading a quiet
life in a little town. Once he hears his friend's sad story, Kaminski agrees to
infiltrate the organization and destroy it.
There isn't much more that can be said in print since the movie is action-oriented
and the stunts and fisticuffs have to be taken in visually. Kaminski goes about
his mission in what has become trademark Schwarzenegger style - there are punchy
one-liners and mind blowing action. After a few car chases, shoot-outs and knockout
blows, the mission is accomplished and world is a better place.
The movie is entertaining and was a success when it was first released, but unfortunately
the current print is just too old, and the shoddy editing and volume make it very
hard to just sit back and enjoy the movie. An honest suggestion would be to hire
a tape or VCD.
