Miss India (the movie) proves that Bollywood has only two kinds of films to offer these days. One, where the plot revolves around a passionate extramarital affair that forces the lead actors to wear minimal amounts of clothing. The other that involves a murder which also forces the lead actors to wear minimal amounts of clothing. There are many profound complications that will not be understood by meagre cretins like us.
Miss India is the story of a murder during the prestigious (har!) Miss India pageant. All the contestants are suspects as every one there has only one objective in mind - showing their bodies - er... typo - winning the crown. The investigating officer is Om Puri, who plays a very unconventional character in the movie - he's the only person that does not wear a swimsuit. Or at least, we're hoping that he won't.
Miss India has the following characters: Loveleen (Saher), Antara (Dolly), Sam (Manoj Verma), Dabar (Prashant), Gunjana (Barkha Khandelwal), Meneka (Mallika Nayyar), Raj (Inder Kochar) and David (Surya).
