Here's Mithun in another one of those no-brainers is not worth your time or money.
There are many rumors as to why he makes these movies in the first place, but
they aren't really mentionable in print!
Prashant Verma is Tiger, an honest cop who really knows how to shake up the bad guys. He gets transferred to Virar and doesn't waste any time in letting the local goons know who's boss. Rukawat Singh (Shakti) is the big man here with Vishnumohan and Sultan as his 'partners'. These guys have killed Durga, the previous inspector, and Tiger wants to investigate this.
Tiger also saves Mona (Reshma Jaitley) from Sultan's son, and she's maha-impressed with him. She's curious about his past, and in a flashback he's talking to the police chief, and in a further flashback we are told how the 3 goons killed Tiger's sister and incapacitated her husband. So, seeking revenge, Tiger comes to their area to finish them off.
He instigates fights among the three of them and succeeds in getting rid of them in a highly contrived and ridiculously illogical climax. Finally, duty bound, he surrenders to the authorities because he ' took the law into his own hands', and is given the death sentence. So here's Mithun in that tragedy that you always wanted.
There is a small love story of two totally unknown individuals who are unconnected to the story somehow interwoven into the already feeble plot. But they find enough reason to sing a couple of songs. Mona is captured by the baddies and made to dance a-la Basanti in Sholay. Only, she's smiling throughout the dance, like she's actually enjoying it.
Mithun comes up with a performance that is... well, what can we say that hasn't already been said about his last 30-odd films? There were enough people who found better things to do in the dark and half-empty theater than watch the movie!
