For once the name of the movie is relevant, and to top it, it is the actual
name of the movie. Now, isn't that a bonus? And the best part is that the director
actually is trying to make a psychological thriller. And does he succeed? Well,
we've rated the movie one star, so you know.
The movie starts off with a game between kids playing catch-catch. And even
as they play, the director tries to portray the chemistry between two ten-year
olds. Wow! And the chemistry goes beyond all boundaries of the crushes that
afflict kids of that age. Cut! Not the director, the censors. They realize all
of a sudden that you have to be above 18 to neck.
Then you have two couples who meet, and one of the husbands and the wife of
the other realize that they are the same kids who were necking in the previous
scene and were interrupted. So they resume, or rather think of resuming. But
obviously the censors haven't forgiven them yet for their twenty-year old faux
pas! So... cut!
Then the errant husband and wife (I hope you realize they are married to different
people!) are shown discussing how to knock off their respective spouses, and
then they really start necking. The censors didn't like this part either. Come
to think of it, it's the censors that are the guilty party, not the poor spouses
of those lovebirds!
Finally the plot tries to show the dark shadows that surround the thinking
of these two, but alas! Everything is lost in actual dark shadows caused by
bad projection. Then the frustrated twosome start implementing their plan. I
don't know what they were actually planning because of... well, the censors!
So there you are - I really don't know how the movie is or how it ended, because
I didn't get to see much of it. If anyone gets to see the uncut version, please
be sure to tell me how the story goes, and if the two do get to neck in peace
after all.
