Hi. I'm Kaveri. I'm the heroine of this film and play a key role, so you get to see a lot of me in this film. 97.3% of me, to be precise. I'd have shown more, but that would be to take away from the main theme of the film. Which is to show 97.3% of me. Besides, if I show 100% of me, I can't say anymore that my best is yet to come.
Now those of you who've heard my dialogue delivery in
Chakram might have been scarred for life, and this movie is a daring attempt to show you that there are lots of facets to me apart from dialogue delivery. Like, words that rhyme with facets, without the 'f'. So don't you go writing stupid editorials like those holier-than-thou staff at fullhyd.com do.
Anyway, there are two things about me that stand out firmly all through this movie. My ability to act and my energy-level. Hyuk, hyuk! Okay, let's try again. There are two things about me that stand out firmly in this movie. What do you think they might be? My ability to act and my energy-level, of course! How many times do I have to tell you the same thing???
So, let's talk about the movie already. Pandu Ranga Vithal (Mohan Babu) is a goon who's good at heart and always does justice to people. We help you make this out through the 2,749 dialogues he makes to this effect in the first 5 minutes of the movie (not counting the dialogues he makes in between these dialogues).
A 45-year-old bachelor misogynist (whoopee, big word!!!), he once comes to my college to judge a beauty competition. When a judge asks me what a woman is incomplete without, I reply that a woman is incomplete without a man, totally forgetting that a woman is more incomplete without her clothes. But Pandu is taken in, since he has no opinion on women, clothing, or anything else which can be used in the same sentence as those two words.
I decide to fool around with his antipathy for women, and start flirting with him despite my friends warning me that he is extremely dangerous. You always feel extra-confident when someone is dubbing your voice. Really – get someone to dub your voice for just one day tomorrow, and you will immediately feel the difference.
I quickly notch up a song where I wear lesser clothes than I already am, proving that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. Pandu falls in love with me despite being 25 years older than me. Now it's always a problem if you fall in love with someone after you become 25 years older than that person, and I honestly feel Pandu should have done it much earlier. But now it's too late, and I cannot reciprocate, especially since I am already in love with Kartik (Abbas), who's not 25 years older than me, even if he is 25 inches bigger around the waist.
Things start getting ugly and violent – Pandu teams up with his estranged brother Surya (Prakash Raj), the villian teams up with the CM, and I have no option left but to wear even shorter clothes. The only plus point of the film is that all the others do not resort to the same thing in a crisis – this film has Sunil, Venu Madhav, Brahmanandam, Banerjee, Ali and Tanikella Bharani, and it would be some sight.
Some people would say that this movie is slow and boring. Some would say that it looks like an '80s print, and doesn't have the sleek, trendy look of modern films. Some would say that Mohan Babu isn't as charismatic or vivacious as he used to be. To all of them I say – some more cleavage?
